Why the Signature and the Exclusive Sessions Were Created

It's no secret that studio|detro does things differently!  We photograph in a unique manner, we can whip up creative designs to complement your photography, and we also have two ways to price our work.  Please choose what is best for your specific project needs!

Read through the following explainations and contact the studio for a quote.  We do not mind sending you two invoices (one Signature Session pricing and the other Exclusive Session pricing) for a job, it can help you weigh the benefits of upgrading to the Exclusive Session!  And if you do not want to license the digital files, you can see the cost savings for commissioning a Signature Session.

Compare Sessions by Print Prices

The Signature Session print prices are perhaps more typical of traditional photography studios.  The pricing includes the cost of the material, the studio time required to edit and order each print as well as compensate the studio a little for the intellectual property of the image copyright.

The Exclusive Session print prices are more reflective of the graphic design and interior design industry pricing. The Exclusive print prices are a 20% markup on wholesale as well as compensation for the photographer and retouch designer's skillful time. Because the client has licensed the studio's digital files in the payment for the photography session, this pricing makes the most sense for both client and studio!
