How can I reproduce a photograph Jenna Dee Detro made?

Clients purchase prints of photographs or screen-ready digital files of photographs. These products are not intended to be altered in any way. The prints are not intended to be reproduced by any means. Screen-ready digital files are licensed to be reproduced for family and friends on screen and without alteration.

Display your images, the prints and the screen-ready files proudly! If you need a copy of a printed photograph, please contact Jenna Dee Detro to purchase another.

If you are interested in purchasing a license to publish a photograph – for example, as a career head shot or a family Christmas card– please contact Jenna Dee Detro to arrange the purchase of a license.

How do I plan what to wear?

Choose clothes for your photography session by pulling the possiblities together and noting a particular shirt or dress pattern is too dominant for the grouping.  You'll be able to tell if the colors in your clothing work well together when you see them together.  If your eye is drawn to the same article of clothing over and over, you'll probably want to replace that piece - unless you'd like that same attention grab in the final photographs.

Some suggestions:

  • be brave with your colors
  • choose clothes that everyone enjoys wearing
  • patterns make for wonderful photographs of those who love patterns
  • all one color tops can look very formal

Our goal is to photograph people in the act of enjoying each other.  Find clothes that reflect "normal life" and get ready to have fun.  Look forward to the session, if in doubt bring extra clothes and do not stress!

Why are "professional" photographs expensive?

Isn't digital photography great?! This is one industry where enthusiasts and career professionals closely resemble each other. However, there are marked differences between the two; even beyond the longevity of the final photographic print.

Jenna Dee Detro strives to provide the highest value in image creation, digital editing and heirloom quality printing. Jenna Dee Detro's prices reflect the cost of running a design studio and her time invested in careful digital editing.

Without compromising quality, Jenna Dee Detro wants to make professional photographs affordable. To reach that goal, the studio offers two product lines:

  • One is a "Studio Order" product line placed with the studio. Selected images are cropped, retouched, printed on archival papers, mounted, and sealed with a protective finish. These images may be displayed framed, framed under glass or set out on easels. The studio assists the client with framing selection and delivery.
  • Another is an "Online Order" product line placed with a third party photographic lab. Images are selected and cropped online by the client. The studio is notified of the order, and Jenna Dee Detro will check the cropping and retouch the image and approve the print order. These images are shipped directly to the client.

Every photograph sold receives the photographer's attention and careful retouching.
